Workers' right to bargain collectively and freedom of association

At Harvey, we are committed to upholding the rights of our employees to advocate for themselves regarding their wages and working conditions. As we are not bound by Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs), we do not engage in collective bargaining. Instead, we encourage open communication and direct engagement between our employees and management to discuss individual wage arrangements and conditions.

Respect for Individual Advocacy

Employee Empowerment

We believe in empowering our employees to have open conversations with their manager about wage expectations, benefits, and other working conditions. We encourage an environment where employees can confidently advocate for themselves.

Transparent Communication

We strive to maintain transparent communication between employees and management. This includes providing information on performance expectations, opportunities for growth, and the factors considered in determining wage adjustments.

No Retaliation

Harvey strictly prohibits any form of retaliation against employees who advocate for themselves regarding their wages or working conditions. Employees can express their needs and concerns without fear of adverse consequences.

Fair and Equitable Treatment

All employees will be treated fairly and equitably when discussing wage adjustments or working conditions. Factors such as experience, performance, and market rates will be taken into consideration during these discussions.

Individual Flexibility Arrangements

We recognise that individual employees may have unique needs and circumstances. The agency's owner will be open to discussing individual flexibility arrangements to accommodate reasonable requests.
