A refined, future-focused visual identity for Australia Land Conservation A lliance
We worked with ALCA to refresh their brand identity and roll it out across two major organisational publications: their renewed 2030 Strategy and their 2024–25 Annual Report. The refined identity strengthens ALCA’s authority as the peak national body representing organisations that conserve, manage and restore nature on privately owned or managed land across Australia, while aligning their visual presence with the ambition of their new strategic direction. Our design process focused on creating a cohesive system that feels authoritative, grounded and unmistakably connected to the Australian landscape.

Brand Refresh
The brand uplift was intentionally light-touch - strengthening recognition of ALCA as a standalone mark, refining the leaf motif, simplifying the colour palette, and ensuring the visual language reflects ALCA’s evolving role and strategic ambition.
2030 Strategy
A thoughtfully designed strategic plan that presents ALCA’s long-term vision with structure and simplicity. The layout and visual language support clear communication of their enablers of change and the direction guiding their work toward 2030.
Annual Report
A polished and accessible annual report showcasing the organisation’s progress and impact. The refreshed design balances data, storytelling and member insights, creating a professional publication aligned with ALCA’s brand.

Logo Refinement: We refined the ALCA logo to strengthen its authority and recognition. The wordmark was capitalised and redrawn with bolder, clearer typography, and the leaf icon was reshaped to reflect distinctly Australian gum leaves.

Colour Palette: We developed a cohesive, nature-led colour palette inspired by forest, water and earth. The reduced set of hues creates a more disciplined and versatile system that reflects ALCA’s conservation focus while improving consistency across all brand touchpoints.
Highlights

2030 Strategy: We designed ALCA’s renewed 2030 Strategy with a clear, structured layout and grounded, nature-inspired palette. The publication communicates ALCA’s long-term vision and the enablers guiding transformation across the conservation sector.

Annual Report: The 2024–25 Annual Report applies the refreshed brand to a clean, accessible and impact-driven publication. The design brings together achievements, member stories and strategic progress in a format that is professional and easy to navigate.
