MK Local Foods had the opportunity to scale the offering of their brick-and-mortar cafes to a broader audience through an ecommerce website. They wanted to serve the local Solomons community and people living abroad, while empowering local farmers through education and culture.
We identified MK’s audiences - time poor people looking for local healthy food - both locally and abroad. Next we crafted key messages and a visual identity for a targeted website with intuition at its core. We also supported MK’s photography direction, payment set up, testing, and ongoing technical support.
MK’s new intuitive website made it possible to purchase delicious veggie boxes and ready-made meals. They’re now one of the leading few businesses to offer ecommerce in the Solomon Islands. MK have been able to extend their reach and continue empowering local farmers through education.
