We’re halfway through the year and everything’s feeling full — at Harvey and in life. We’re settling into regional life in Castlemaine, juggling the chaos of sick kids and the fun of toddlerhood, while running a small business. We’ve just booked our first proper overseas family trip (yay - and wish us luck), and at Harvey, things are moving too — new projects, new people, and signs that our focus on seniors is starting to pay off.
We’ve been deep in design and development, launching websites, shaping brand strategies, and refining how we build for clarity, speed and scale. But we’ve also had time to step back — joining B Corp Month events and conversations about what better business could look like, especially as new standards bring more rigour and impact.
(We only send occasional updates like this to people we’ve worked with or connected with — people we consider part of our community. I thought this might be of interest, but if it’s not your thing, no problem at all. Just let me know, or click unsubscribe at the bottom of the email, and we’ll update the list.)

Levelling up Webflow with their latest features
We build non-eCom sites in Webflow, and we’ve been busy incorporating all their latest features into our builds - from variable modes, shared component libraries, collection upgrades and code previewing. These enable us to build faster, better, and spend more time working on UX, content & design, and development gets faster and faster.
- A suite of components in our new shared component library to spin up new pages
- CSS variables for tweaking spacing, sizing, colours across all breakpoints in a jiffy
- Enables clients to build new pages with greater control and less knowledge
- Cleaner structure = future-proofed for scaling
It’s been a big investment for us and come at a bit of a cost to our bottom line, but we’ve done it to enable us to provide better websites, more efficiently and empower our clients.
Brand Strategy
Besides website builds, brand and messaging strategy continues to make up a big part of our work — shaping strong foundations that help organisations grow with clarity and confidence. Recent work includes:
- Living Knowledge Place (coming soon) – from the founders of Firesticks, LKP is a learning platform that bridges Indigenous knowledge solutions with the Australian school curriculum
- Yarrow Build – Designing and building homes that not only feel good but are good for us.
- Clean Focus – clarify their purpose and values, and shape a roadmap of meaningful impact initiatives to bring more purpose to their brand as a commercial cleaning company doing things differently.
- Interspan - helped clarify and elevate their brand to position it as the premium post-tensioning leader across all markets—supporting growth in infrastructure and international expansion
Pro bono spotlight: RIAA
Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) are (and have been) making significant impact in systems changed in the financial sector. They are the largest network of responsible and impact investors in AU & NZ. With over 500 members representing A$76 trillion / NZ$83 trillion in assets under management.
Their membership includes super funds, KiwiSaver providers, fund managers, banks, consultants, researchers, brokers, impact investors, property managers, trusts, foundations, faith-based groups, financial advisers and individuals.
Their work is aligned to our purpose “Unlocking the potential of the new economy to leave behind a better world” which is why we decided to allocate our impact investment (5% of revenue) for FY25 to them. As part of our brand and website work for RIAA (Responsible Investment Association Australasia) we contributed $55k in additional services, in addition to the beyond the 45% discount they received as being our Amazing impact level.
Thanks for following along
While our work keeps evolving, we’re still grounded in the same things: thoughtful brands, purposeful websites, and good design. If you’re rethinking your identity, building something new, or just need a sounding board, we’d love to hear from you.
