The power of capital to reshape our future
When you want to create change at scale, you start by shifting where the money goes. In Australia and New Zealand alone, trillions of dollars sit in superannuation funds, investment portfolios and banking systems. This capital shapes industries, influences climate action, and affects the wellbeing of communities. Redirecting even a fraction of it towards responsible, ethical and sustainable investment can create significant change.Â
This is why we partner with RIAA, the Responsible Investment Association Australasia.
RIAA are leading this shift across ANZ, helping move trillions of dollars of capital towards a fairer, cleaner and more accountable economy.
RIAA represents more than 500 members who collectively manage over A$76 trillion. Their network includes super funds, KiwiSaver providers, fund managers, banks, impact investors and advisers. In short, they influence the organisations that decide how money flows through our economy. They are the ones setting standards, calling out greenwashing, and ensuring investment decisions genuinely benefit people, communities and the planet.
RIAA’s purpose aligns closely with ours, that is, unlocking the potential of the new economy to leave behind a better world, and responsible investment is a direct way to achieve that. This is why we chose to allocate our FY25 impact investment to RIAA, and why we delivered $55k dollars of additional pro bono support on top of the 45 percent Amazing-level impact discount they received. For us, this partnership is more than project work. It is a contribution to systemic change, because when the flow of money shifts, the world shifts with it.
